Here we would like to explain the differences and added value through the extension: Entrance separation in the Reception Module.

Gate selection
With Entrance Separation, after logging in to reception, you will be asked immediately for the gate at which you wish to control the reception. This has an effect in some subsequent operations such as pre-registration or direct registration of visitors.
For comparison: In the Intranet module, the query (for which gate you want to pre-register, for example) is only asked during the action itself.
These differences serve to improve the workflow at the reception and intranet. If the user settings in the reception have been activated, you can set the preselection for the gate for your logins there.
List pre-registered
In the view for pre-registered visitors, the table is extended by the column Gate. This makes it possible to quickly see at the reception desk if a visitor is actually at the wrong gate, and at which gate he or she actually has to check in. (The visibility of this column in the table can also be deactivated via the administration).
With the button Only my gate, the view can be limited to only those visitors who are pre-registered for your gate.
Currently in the house
The new column Gate can also be found here due to the entrance separation. (The visibility of this column in the table can also be deactivated via the administration).
With the button Only my gate, the view can be limited to only those visitors who are pre-registered for your gate.
Reprint
In the reprint view you will find the additional views for the gate, as well as the button to filter the overview.
