Documentation: How to start with FastReport for developers
In this documentation you will find the necessary information about FastReport for developers, with step by step information on how to work with FastReport in Odoo system.
Default reports in Odoo are written in HTML/Qweb, and they use wk<html>topdf library to perform the PDF rendering. You can find more information about Qweb Engine in Odoo System here.
The Equitania FastReport Basis modules enhance the Odoo print engine to render also FastReport, using the same base functionality. The implementation of the Equitania FastReport modules give you the possibility to print standard reports (Qweb Engine) but also FastReport. In the next section find a detailed explanation of each one of the modules.
