In the following, we explain in detailed steps how you can manually enter and update your employees from the Active Directory.
To do this, go to the administration under
LDAP > Sync
The LDAP user control is divided into the following 4 areas:
All users
Here you can now see all users of your Active Directory and check whether they are active.
New users
In "New users" you will find LDAP users that have not yet been added.
Here you will find the employees who were most recently entered in the Active Directory but have not yet been imported into ID VisitControl.
To add a user to ID VisitControl, select the user from the list and click the "Import User" button.
If a user has only recently been added to LDAP and you cannot find him/her, the "Refresh LDAP" can be used to start the synchronisation.
Existing users
Under the existing users you will find all LDAP users that are in the system and are considered active.
Inactive users
Under the deactivated users from the LDAP, you have the option here to "reactivate user".
