Departments are automatically pulled from Active Directory (LDAP sync), as long as the "Department" field is filled.
An employee must be assigned to a department in order to be able to select him/her as an employee in the reception, intranet or kiosk.
You still have the possibility to manually assign a different department to an employee.
In the following we will explain how to assign an employee to a department.
Employees within this department can see the same visitors in the Intranet module.
