Overview "Dashboard"
The dashboard offers a small overview of the health status as well as the stored settings of ID VisitControl.
License overview
In the licence overview, you can see at a quick glance which modules and how many of them have been activated.
System information and quick checkups
Besides some basic information about the database and the current version, there are useful buttons for various quick function tests.
If the function is working correctly, you will get a visual response. If there is a problem, this is reported with the exclamation mark and you can click on it to go directly to the appropriate mask or to get further information.
The test cases
Printservice
Whether the print service is running is checked directly when it is called up from the admin dashboard. If a yellow exclamation mark appears, you can try to restart the service using the "Restart" button.
LDAP
Checks the connection settings of the LDAP credentials.
The e-mail test only works correctly if you have defined a "Standard e-mail test address" under Office > E-mail settings. This sends out a small test email to quickly check the sending and the connection settings of the server.
Anhänge
A check is made to see if there could be an error in sending the e-mail due to faulty e-mail attachments. If at least 1 attachment causes problems, the icon is displayed in orange. Click on the orange icon to get an overview of the faulty attachments.

Export the configurations & repair the database
We are happy to help you via our support portal. Unfortunately, not all issues are easy to understand and you need a deeper look into the system. ID VisitControl is very extensive and no two customer systems are alike.
Since we do not have direct access to your system, you can help us analyse the incidents by exporting the configuration of your system. This often saves time-consuming Teamviewer sessions.
No visit, visitor- or employee-data will be exported. The same applies to passwords, accesses credentials or other vulnerable information.
The export includes
Configurations of the system (which settings you have and how they are set)
An error log in the form of an EXCEL file
This data is exported to a ZIP file during the export and helps us to better understand the problem, even without access to your system.
Repair database
If your system has an unusual error, e.g. a problem when using the search, clicking on "Repair database" could help to fix these errors automatically.
Hangfire
This only provides an overview of the hangfire settings in the system and is only intended to provide a small remedy for a quick overview of the configuration.
Gate settings
Overview of the other activated modules for the individual gates.
Individual modules (reception, intranet, kiosk)
The lower blocks provide further information and tests, divided into the main modules Reception, Intranet and Kiosk.
You have the option of checking directly via the interface whether the modules react to a login in general, without having to open up the individual modules and check them manually.
