Additional module - Web Pin Ident

By scanning the barcode on the visitor badge, your visitors can sign in and out themselves. This not only reduces the workload at your reception desk, but also saves time for your visitors.

Especially for returning visitors who come on several days in a row, or even have to pass the reception several times on the same day, you simplify the process significantly.

When scanning a badge with barcode or QR code, the visitor receives a clear message for a moment.

After a successful logout.

If there is a problem with the barcode, the visitor receives a warning and must contact the staff at the reception.

This can occur, for example, with an expired PIN, or with an invalid card.

Configuration

Below you can see the settings for the Web Pin Ident module in the administration.
The settings are made per gate, you can find them accordingly in the Administration under: Gates.

Web Pin Ident Enabled
De/activate the Web Pin Ident for the selected gateway.

User / Password
Define which user will be used for authentication at WebPinIdent.

Kiosk Pin Mode
Logging in/out with the Web Pin Ident is usually only active for permanent visitors. If you activate the Kiosk Pin Mode, pre-registered visitors can also log in/out, or regular visitors can log out.

Visual indication duration
Display duration of the animation, from the start to the end of the animation. Please test yourself on the device, which display duration you find comfortable (in seconds).

Print Label
Select if and which report should be printed after a logon.

Sound on/off
De/enable playback of audio files on a login/logout/error.

Duration
Audio file time limit (in seconds)

Login successful / Logout successful / Pin unknown
Here you can define the desired audio file which should be played at the given status.
