Form elements
Below you will find an explanation of the form elements that are used in the visit data form as well as for your own individual forms.
The type defines the kind of element, e.g. whether it is a normal text field, a checkbox or another element. Special feature: The visit form contains predefined elements, these are element types that are currently fixed and can only be edited slightly. The following elements are currently available:
| |
The ID must be unique and can be freely defined. Please use only letters and numbers,
The name is only used for quick identification of the element in the overview and should be clearly assigned/identifiable what this field is about.
The value is the permanently assigned information linked to the data in the system. This is prefixed with the '@' character and are fixed values.
The description field can be ignored for the visit form and only plays a role in the own individual forms. Here e.g. the initial text or other references can be assigned, so that you recognize already in the overview what is in this element. e.g. if your texts are defined with IDs like txtText1 you can enter here in the description field the first words from the sentence, so you can see immediately where the sentence begins.
Group means that an element belongs to a group. In this group, for example, checkboxes can be selected from the form. This element will then only be displayed if the checkbox selected here is active. Usage example:
Here you can enable (or) disable elements without having to delete them first.
Switches an object visible or invisible.
With Required you define whether, for example, a text field becomes a required field.
The label is the description of the text field. Please do not write anything directly into the text field, but use the mask which is located behind the button of "Label". There you will also find further options like the translation.
The property "Size" has no function in this visitor data view, but will be used in the other forms. For headlines, for example, you can define the size of the headline from 1-5.
The width of the view is divided by 12 parts. This allows you to create multi-column documents and determine the width yourself.
The spacing (margin) is defined using Bootstrap margin classes and is defined in all 4 directions from the object (top, bottom, left, right). Using the options you can very easily select the appropriate CSS classes here to define the margins. |
